Early voting takes place in person before Election Day. You do not need an excuse to vote early: if your state offers early voting, you can simply choose to take advantage of it. If you have any question about early voting, please contact your local election office.

If you do not have an ID, another registered voter may sign a form confirming your identity or you may show your Election Day Registration documents.
